Principal's Message

Hello McNair Community,

I want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate an important accomplishment for our McNair community. McNair has earned the Silver Implementation Award from California PBIS!

This recognition is a reflection of the intentional work we have done to build a positive, supportive, and respectful school culture through our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). It represents more than simply implementing a program—it reflects our collective commitment to creating an environment where students feel supported, understand expectations, and have the opportunity to thrive.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to our McNair PBIS Team for their leadership, dedication, and continued efforts to make PBIS an integral part of our school culture. Most importantly, I want to recognize our students. Their commitment to following our PBIS and SOAR Matrix and their daily efforts to demonstrate our expectations are a critical part of this achievement.

This award belongs to all of us. It is a reflection of the work we do together as a school community and the high expectations we have for ourselves and for our students.

Congratulations, McNair! This is an accomplishment we should be proud of, and an exciting reminder of what we can achieve when we work together with purpose and commitment.

Have a wonderful week!

Mrs. Nicole Vertar, M. Ed.

Principal

To complete ODC:

  2. Once logged in, if you have not completed the ODC a pink banner will appear across the top of your screen prompting you to complete the process. Follow the prompts and select "Finish and Submit" to finalize the data confirmation.

If you need clarity on the above steps, or would like to see screenshots, please view this document or call our school's office.

Be Present: Cell Phone Policy Reminder

Phones down, heads up. Creating connections in the classroom.

As we settle back into the routines of school, please help us remind your children that their phones should be put away during school. During school hours, campuses are a "no phone zone" and students will be expected to keep their phones off and put away.

This initiative is designed to support a more focused learning environment while encouraging real, in-person connection outside of the digital world. For more information and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit www.lodiusd.net/be-present.
