After the challenges of Hurricane Helene, we came back stronger than ever! It has been truly inspiring to see the resilience, energy, and positivity from our students, staff, and families.

The past few weeks were filled with amazing learning experiences and activities that reminded us of the importance of community and perseverance. From creative hands-on projects to engaging discussions in the classroom, everyone has shown their commitment to getting back on track and supporting each other.

I would like to especially thank our teachers for their adaptability and our students for their enthusiasm. The way we came together in support of one another was a true testament to our strength as a school community.

Congratulations to Christina Honeycutt, our DMES Teacher of the Year, and LaKeisha Walker, our Support Staff of the Year! We are honored to have these ladies represent our Dalmatian family. We appreciate both of them for sharing their gifts and talents with our school community!

Red Ribbon Week is October 21-25, 2024.

Our upcoming Free Parent Workshop: Healthy Screen Time Habits and ADHD will be held at Drayton Mills Elementary on Tuesday, October 26, 2024 at 8:30 am. This workshop will include strategies to structure screen time routines, use assertive discipline, and adjust parenting for children with ADHD.
