Panther Weekly
Sept. 8 - Sept. 14
We would like to welcome you to take a look back at 50 years of Parkview!
This year we are excited to celebrate Parkview's 50th Anniversary. Over the school year, you may notice our clubs, athletics and activities all finding a way to join in the celebration. They may have alumni at their games, guest conductors at their concerts or 50th themed events.
In this section we will feature images and facts about Parkview's first 50 years!
Parkview's Beginning
Parkview High School opened it's doors to students in 1976 to relieve the overcrowding in other Gwinnett schools, and by 1979 there were over 1900 students enrolled. Parkview was named because during construction you were able to see Stone Mountain Park from the new school site.
