Principal's Message
Dear Maple Glen Families -
Great news to share!
Our Maple Glen Spell Bowl team earned first place on Monday evening at the Noblesville competition. Additional exciting news, on Tuesday we learned that our Maple Glen spellers were named STATE CHAMPIONS in our division!
Congratulations to our incredible Spell Bowl team members - Thanvik, Ryland, Braiden, Joshua, Jamie, Alice, Pravasthi, Vaishvi, Maddie, Rudratej, and Shriya and their amazing coach, Mrs. Pate. We are so proud of this team and all their hard work!
As the temperatures continue to drop, please make sure your child comes to school with appropriate cold weather clothing. Coats, hats, and gloves are important to help students stay warm and comfortable during outdoor recess.
We go outside whenever conditions safely allow (wind chill needs to be 15 degrees or above), so having these items each day ensures your child can enjoy recess and stay warm!
On behalf of Maple Glen, thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school.
Have a great weekend,
Tiffany Buzan
171st/Ditch Closure - STILL CLOSED....
Just a friendly reminder that all cars should enter into Maple Glen from 169th/171st street. The bus lot is NOT a thorough fare to drop off students. Thank you for your flexibility.

2. Please refrain from posting picture of other children on social media.
3. To ensure space, lunch tables are reserved for you and your child only.

Talking Points
Westfield Washington Schools usesTalkingPoints to communicate with families! TalkingPoints allows for seamless multilingual two-way communication between teachers and families. Families can choose to receive messages via SMS text messaging or through the free FAMILIES | TalkingPoints mobile app for Apple or Android.
This platform has enhanced translation capabilities, so families can receive and send messages in their preferred language. Additional tools like speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and closed captioned videos make this program accessible to all of our Westfield families.
The most important thing you can do to ensure you are receiving messages from your child’s teacher is to make sure your contact information for the “Father” and “Mother” fields in PowerSchool is correct. When a teacher sends out a message, TalkingPoints will automatically use those two phone numbers. If you’d like to add additional contacts, please reach out to your child’s teachers.
