All medications must be picked up by June 11, 2026, unless other individual plans are made with the school nurses. We are unable to send medications home with students.

Message from Northshore Christian Church
Dear Northshore family and friends,
As many of you know, Lead Pastor Scott Harris will be leaving Northshore on May 31. As we approach the time to say goodbye to Pastor Scott, the elders wanted to update you on some of the near-term planning that is in progress as we consider the next season of ministry at Northshore and what God has in store for our future.
Our immediate priority is ensuring the continued coordination and smooth functioning of our various ministries while the Lead Pastor position is vacant. For our Sunday worship services, we have been blessed with a solid teaching team and a large group of talented worship team members, and you will continue to see familiar faces on stage as we gather together for corporate praise and Biblical instruction. Pastor Nick and our faithful ministry leaders remain engaged with our members and the surrounding communities. The Academy continues to be led by Lane and a highly capable leadership team and staff, and the Thrift Store by its dedicated staff and volunteers.
While the elders remain involved with the various committees that support our different ministries and functions, several have temporarily taken on more active roles in areas that are normally overseen directly by the Lead Pastor, to provide guidance and support in this transition period. Together with the leadership team and the staff, we will work to bring the ministry year, the school year, and the budget planning process for next fiscal year to a successful completion and make plans for new ministry opportunities in the coming months.
Once we have all settled into our new operating routines, the elders will begin the process of searching for our next Lead Pastor. As we have done in previous searches for executive team positions, we anticipate forming a screening committee comprised of a diverse mix of voices and perspectives from NCC and its ministries. This team will review applications we receive, conduct initial interviews with candidates, and forward competitive candidates to the elders for follow-up interviews. Please be praying for everyone involved in this process, as we want to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and not try to force our own timeline as God speaks to us about His plan for this next season and our next Lead Pastor.
Many years ago, I served as a deck officer on ships in the Navy. One of the commands we used to hold the ship on course when it was pointed in the direction we wanted it to go was, “Steady as she goes.” That told the helmsman to maintain the ship on a fixed course in that direction, regardless of how the wind and swells tried to turn it aside. That term could be our theme as we move ahead with our ministry. God has us pointed in the same direction we have already been on, so our job right now is to just hold steady as we wait to see what God is going to do next. And like those Navy ships, there is no one here who is just along for the ride. We are the church, and God has a purpose and a call for each of us here at Northshore. As Hebrews 10:24 encourages us, let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us each continue to worship God by serving those sitting next to us and in the community beyond these walls. We have seen God’s faithfulness over the years and we are confident we will continue to see it in the coming months.
Blessings,
Geoff Enns
