Traffic Management
Parents – We Need Your Help!
We’re asking for your support in keeping the FRH Parking Lot and Drop-Off Loop a safe place for our students. Every year, we work closely with our SRO to help monitor and enforce this. Help us out by remembering the following:
- Staff Parking access is not permitted during peak times. Bus and foot traffic already create congestion, and extra vehicles reduce visibility and increase risk.
- Drop-off lane is right-turn only (Westbound traffic only). No U-turns or left turns. These are prohibited, and signage is posted to remind drivers. (Please note: This is a ticketable offense.)
- Utilize the pump station parking lot, across the street if you are traveling Eastbound.
- Follow the crossing guard’s directions. Vehicles must not enter the crosswalk area if students or staff are present. (Please note: This is a ticketable offense.)
Thank you for doing your part to keep our students safe!

Schedule Changes for 2026-2027 School Year
New this year, as part of our commitment to creating the best possible learning environment, we are introducing a few positive updates to our daily timetable. Pleasse note the following:
1. A Simplified 4-Day Rotation (Instead of 6) - We will maintain our 6-period day, but we are shifting from a 6-day rotation to a 4-day rotation.
2. A 45-Minute Lunch Break - Our lunch period will adjust to 45 minutes. This gives time for lunch, while helping students retain their focus.
3. Earlier Dismissal: 3:00 PM (2:00 PM on Wednesdays) -By optimizing our lunch hour, we are able to move dismissal up to 3:00 PM and 2:00 PM on Wednesdays.
Bell Schedule
Reminder that every Wednesday will be an early Wednesday, and we will follow the Early Dismissal Schedule. Our staff will be working on collaborative practices.
School Council
Our first School Council meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at 6:00 p.m. on September 9, 2026 in the school library. The primary focus of our School Council is to keep families informed about what’s happening at school. Everyone is welcome to attend any meeting throughout the year.
We value your time and strive to keep meetings to one hour.
If you're new to our school community, this is a great opportunity to meet other families, to learn about what’s happening at the school, and to get involved in a meaningful way. We welcome all perspectives and levels of involvement. Your voice matters!
At the AGM, we will be seeking individuals interested in the following position:
Chair
Vice-Chair
Secretary
We look forward to seeing you throughout the year if you’re able to attend.
Grab-and-Go Breakfast Cart
Fuel up for a great day!
Our breakfast cart is back, and available for any student who missed breakfast or might need an extra morning boost. No student should start their day hungry!
We encourage students to take what they need while being mindful of others when visiting the cart; this way, everyone can have a snack when they need it.
