A Message From Mrs. Kristie Autrey
Dear Students and Families,
We have just completed the first ten days of school!!!
It is important to help your child start off on the right foot. September is Attendance Awareness Month, a time to recognize that regular school attendance is essential to student learning and long-term achievement. We value your partnership in ensuring that your child is present and on time each day.
Please review the following important attendance reminders:
A written note from a parent/guardian is required the day your student returns after an absence.
After 10 days of absences, a doctor’s note may be required for any further absences.
Students who are checked out before 10:58 AM will be counted absent for the entire day.
Students who check in after 10:58 AM will also be counted absent for the entire day.
Good attendance is one of the most important factors in your child’s academic success. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to helping us build strong attendance habits that will benefit your child throughout their education.
Warmest Regards, Kristie Autrey

- Share: Send your child’s fundraising link to family members and friends and invite them to contribute.
- Get ready for the big day: On September 25th, students will run, skip, dance, and walk around the Mitchell High School track!
It will be a wonderful day filled with fun, fitness, and school spirit—all while raising money for exciting student events. Let’s make this year’s Fun Run our best one yet! ⛏️💙
