South Tech Preview Night: October 21st: 5:00 - 7:00 pm

This open house event is a great time to meet teachers, see our classrooms, and learn more about what Career and Technical Education options are available for you. There's no pre-registration for this event. If you are a sophomore, the South Tech application will open on Monday, September 21st to start Tech in August 2027. Please take the time to visit South Tech and research program options before submitting an application. Students that are admitted to South Tech are taking a 2-year spot in a program that has very limited availability. All applications submitted before January 4, 2027, will be placed in the same pool and randomly sorted. Applications will be processed in that order, and once programs fill, waitlists will be started. Students can visit the prerequisites page on our website to be sure you meet requirements before applying.

We are conducting social-emotional learning (SEL) surveys with students and staff this fall and next spring as part of our ongoing commitment to student success and well-being. These surveys provide valuable insights into the student experience at our school.

Students will share their perspectives on:

• School climate and safety

• Sense of belonging and connection

• Peer and teacher relationships

• Academic and social support

Fall survey window: September 22 - October 17 Time required: About 15 minutes
