Note from the Director

Hello neighbors and friends,

I hope you've been able to spend some time outside lately! The crisp fall weather is a favorite in beautiful Eureka Springs. Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out our survey, we greatly appreciate your input. We have a lot going on this season!

This Thursday, we have an Arkansas International Literary Magazine author talk at 6PM. We are also continuing the Spooky Family Film series on Wednesdays after school, and the Freaky Film Fest on Friday evenings until Halloween. Coming up next month: our annual Documentary Film Fest. We've got a great lineup, so mark your calendars and plan to be here on Friday evenings! Taught by the professionals from Common Sense Technologies, we are hosting 4 weeks of Cell Phone Instruction classes (Android and Apple) on Wednesday mornings in November. Save the date for a Community Dialogue Pizza Party on Wednesday, November 18th at 5pm (location to be announced).

Read on for more news and information about upcoming programs!

With gratitude,

Christina Danos

This is a great way to learn about and play with toys related to the history of the Arkansas Ozarks. Like the other items in our Library of Things, the box checks out for one week. The box is a great teaching tool for teachers and parents of homeschoolers!

Soulful Tunes with Don & Scott

Every Wednesday from 4:30pm-6:00pm you can hear the sweet music of our very own Don Matt and the talented Scott Thompson as they play acoustic folk tunes in the Library Garden for any and all those lucky enough to sit for a spell and give a listen. In the case of inclement weather, you will find them in Meeting Room 2.
