Meet Mrs. Jordaan
I am Rachel Jordaan and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Minnewaukan. I work on many skills with students such as language, speech sound articulation, stuttering, and more. This is my 8th school year at Minnewaukan and I have loved every minute! Minnewaukan has the best students, staff, and administration! I live on a farm with my husband and two children. I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, and taking pictures.
Meet Ms. Hoffner!
My name is Ms. Hoffner and this is my 8th year teaching at Minnewaukan School, it’s the BEST JOB EVER! I enjoy getting to know all of the students. We like to have a lot of fun! When I’m not teaching reading and writing to the 4th-6th graders, I love to spend time with my friends and family, watch all of my shows, attend concerts, and travel as much as I can! Here’s to another great year!
Meet Ms. Lindsey!
My name is Lindsey Illerbrunn. I am the PK-12 Physical Education Teacher. I have worked at Minnewaukan for 15 years. I work at Grahams Island State Park during the summer months. Get Plenty of Rest: Make sure to get a good night's sleep before the test. Being well-rested will help you stay focused and alert during the test.
Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Eat a nutritious breakfast on the morning of the test. Foods like whole grains, fruits, and protein can provide the energy you need to concentrate and perform your best.
Review Material: Take some time to review key concepts and skills that will be covered on the test. Go over your notes, textbooks, or review sheets provided by your teacher.
Stay Relaxed: Try to stay calm and relaxed before the test. Practice deep breathing or visualization techniques to help calm any nerves or anxiety you may be feeling.
Read Instructions Carefully: When you receive the test, take a few moments to read the instructions carefully. Make sure you understand what is being asked before you begin.
Focus on Each Question: Concentrate on one question at a time and do your best to answer it before moving on to the next. Avoid getting distracted by what other students are doing.
Stay Positive: Maintain a positive attitude throughout the test. Believe in yourself and your abilities, and remember that you've been preparing for this moment.
Check Your Work: If time allows, go back and review your answers before submitting your test. Look for any mistakes or areas where you might have misunderstood a question.
Don't Panic: If you encounter a difficult question, don't panic. Take a deep breath, read the question again, and think through your options carefully.
Celebrate Your Effort: After the test, pat yourself on the back for your hard work and effort. No matter the outcome, remember that you gave it your best shot.
