Mid-Winter Update 2025-2026

Congrats to all the students who qualified for the Elks Hoop Shoot competition at their schools! The Elks Hoop Shoot is a free throw competition. Big congrats to Audrey W for advancing to the second round!

Throughout the month of November we have focused on our basketball skills, primarily the basketball dribble. We practiced by pretending to smash bugs, dribble around mountains, and move at different speeds. The students in grades K-5 played a variety of games to enhance their skills.

Big thanks to the Northwood PTA for allowing our 3rd-5th grade students participate in the learn to skate program. This year we chose Rollerblades and the kids are loving it. Thanks to all the parent volunteers who came out and helped with the program!

Students used the PE equipment to make turkeys around Thanksgiving break.

Students played against each other in the throwing game, "Knock Down Your Neighbors Snowman."
