Rodrigo y Gabriela (Rodrigo and Gabriela) are a guitar duo from Mexico, where they both grew up. Rodrigo plays lead guitar while Gabriela plays rhythm guitar, treating her instrument more like a hand drum. They are influenced by heavy metal bands, as well as traditional Mexican and Irish music. You can hear their music in The Pirates of the Caribbean and Puss and Boots. They won their first Grammy in 2020 and have performed around the world in venues such as the White House, the Hollywood Bowl, London's Royal Albert hall, Radio City Music Hall, and the Sydney Opera House.
