This year began with frigid temperatures and lots of snow. The forecast for next week predicts warmer temperatures for us all. Dressing warmly during the winter months is essential. If your child(ren) needs winter gear (coats, hats, scarves, mittens/gloves, or boots), please contact your child's student services team or principal.

At Tuesday evening's Board of Education meeting, the Board unanimously adopted a resolution to move forward with an operational three-year referendum for $9,000,000 per year. I will update you as the process moves toward the April 2, 2024 election. You can also access our 2024 Referendum webpage. Your child(ren) 's school will also be a source of referendum information, and principals will begin scheduling opportunities for you to gather with other families to learn about the impact of this referendum. As always, thank you for your collaboration in your child(ren) 's education and your support of the School District of Beloit's greater school community.

In service,

Dr. Willie E. Garrison II

School District of Beloit Superintendent
