  • Next week is our Fall Spirit Week. You can find the themes students selected for each day in the following documents: Upper School Spirit Week Lower School Spirit Week

  • Come join us at CAMP READ-A-LOT! MPS is hosting a fun-filled Family Literacy night on Monday, November 10th from 4:00-5:30 @ MHS. It will be packed with seasonal literacy activities. Participants will choose books to read, enjoy flashlight reading in a tent and around the “campfire”, make s’more crafts, sample curriculum “snacks” and visit a yummy, make your own s’more station. We are fortunate to have several community partners planning to attend: MAN Inc, GLCAC, the Inclusivity Club, Rangers’ Club, Methuen Literacy Partnership and the Nevins’ library staff will join us. See you there!

  • Thank you to everyone who spoke with representatives from Zeal Education Group during parent-teacher conferences and attended the Town Hall meeting focused on the future of Methuen Public Schools and the selection of a superintendent of schools.

As we move through the first stage of the superintendent search, we continue to gather community input to help inform the process.

Please take a moment to scan the QR codes in the section below and share your thoughts. Your voice matters!

  • MHS students and staff invite parents and guardians to attend our Parent Roadshow! We understand that choosing a high school is an important decision for your family, and we want to help you support your student as they plan for their next four years. Join us for our “Invest in YOU!” presentation, the same engaging presentation shared with all 8th-grade students at our grammar schools. Discover the academic programs, career pathways, extracurricular opportunities, and supportive community that make Methuen High School a place where every student can explore their interests, pursue their goals, and find their path to success!

  • The Methuen Literacy Partnership invites families to complete this Early Childhood Survey to help us better understand how we can support our youngest readers and their families.

  • Help Build the Methuen Education Foundation!

We are seeking community members interested in guiding the planning and launch of the Methuen Education Foundation. The Foundation will serve as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization aimed at creating new opportunities to support innovation, enrichment, and excellence across Methuen Public Schools. We are building a diverse Steering Committee of individuals passionate about Methuen’s students, schools, and community who can help shape the Foundation’s vision, structure, and long-term success.

If you would like to be considered for the Steering Committee, please complete the Interest Form by November 13, 2026, and tell us a little about yourself and what you could bring to the Methuen Education Foundation.
