She also has been an adjunct professor at Monmouth University, teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. Sheri owned her own practice before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her 3 young children. She recently started working for Atlantic Behavior Analysis and has a new energy and passion returning to what she loves to do. Not only is Sheri a professional in the field, but she is a parent of a child with autism as well. What is a Special Education Parent Advisory Group?

A SEPAG gives parents the opportunity to provide direct input to their school district about policies, programs, practices, and services that have an impact on students with disabilities and their families. An effective SEPAG can increase the proactive involvement of families by inviting input that can be used to shape local special education policy.

The MARSD district SEPAG representative is Mr. James McCue.
