The Braintree Buzz
Principal's Update
We had a wonderful week back at school after February vacation. Students got right back into the swing of things! I had the chance to work with some first graders on clock reading and responded to the persuasive letters from third graders about new playground equipment. I also had the opportunity to work with students and staff from across the district to begin building OSSD's Portrait of a Graduate, the skills, characteristics, and experiences we want all students to have access to upon graduation from our schools. If you are interested in joining us for the remaining 3 working sessions, please let me know!
You may remember that our farmstand, Braintree Blossoms, is being improved by students from RUHS and RTCC. We had our first planning team meeting this week with the older students and Braintree's representatives, and we are excited about the potential in the project! Check out the video below to learn more about the beginning stages.
