October 26th - October 30th October 26th - October 30th

Reminders:

This week for Red Ribbon Week, students may dress down for free if their outfit aligns with the day's theme!

- Monday, 10/26: 90s Day!

- Tuesday, 10/27: Team/ Sports Day! Last day of quarter one.

- Wednesday, 10/28: Wrong Occasion Day! QUARTER TWO BEGINS! Students will be reissued new punch cards in Homeroom and have a fresh start!

- Thursday, 10/29: Country vs. Country Club Day!

- Friday, 10/30: Hero Day! Dance after school (Students may bring a costume to change into for the dance).

🚨- ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS!! 🚨 Beginning in quarter two, students will no longer be able to turn in late work TWO WEEKS+ past its due date. Teachers will accept late work for full or partial credit for two weeks, but then the zero will remain and no longer be available to be made up. This helps build accountability, prevents students from becoming overwhelmingly behind in courses, and prepares them better for 8th grade and beyond!

- WonderWorks permission slips went home last week! The first payment and the permission slip are due by 12/4. The first students in every Homeroom to pay in full and turn in the permission slip are able to pick their seats next to a friend on the bus first!

- Our first incentive field trip will be November 24th. Permissions slips will be in report card envelopes going home on Tuesday, 11/3. If you are interested in chaperoning trips this year, please make sure you are fingerprinted by the county! The fingerprinting schedule is attached below.

JOIN TALKING POINTS!

- TalkingPoints will be the main form of communication from all 7th Grade teachers. Please sign up by going to families.talkingpts.org/welcome and using code: Z2HM6N.
