Hello Tiger Families,

December and January have been busy!

Due to SNOW/ICE days and Holidays we had to reschedule some lessons and find time to meet with your student. But rest assured we managed and were able to visit all classes and stay on track with Counseling Lessons. East has a great team of teachers that work together to support your student.

We look forward to February and March as we have a lot of lessons planned to share. Our focus is reviewing Bullying and Conflict Management.

Counselors will continue to visit your students classroom every other week for 30 minutes. Lessons presented in February and March include:

Students have had the wonderful opportunity to explore 4 of the 6 Career Paths and hear from Guest Speakers representing each path.

Thank you to Missouri S&T Satellite Research Team (Building & Fixing Path), Ms. Ashley Minzes and Ms. Shauna Jefferson - Destination Dance (Creative Path), Mr. Dustin Moss - FLW Biologist- Installation Pest Management Coordinator DPW Natural Resource Branch (Nature Path), and Pampered Paws & Therapy Dogs (Business Path).

Counselors will be giving lessons in March focused on CCR.

If you have a student that is NEW to our school, they have been assigned a MENTOR. If you feel that your student needs some more time with their MENTOR, please feel free to reach out to the counselors. We are happy to help support!
