FACE Habits of Mind - Parent workshops
FACE is a FREE 8-week program focusing on 8 - Habits of Mind – essential skills that characterize successful individuals. Open the attached flyers for more information and to register for FACE Fall 2023. The attached flyers are in English and Spanish.
FACE is held on Tuesdays, starting September 12, 2023, through November 7, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Lines were long and students were so patient! Thank you! We were able to get through about 500 of the 900 students who needed to have their photo taken and pick up their ID cards. We have scheduled another date with the company: Monday, September 18th.
NO DELIVERIES
MHHS does NOT allow food deliveries from paid delivery services such as Doordash, GrubHub, Uber Eats, etc. All deliveries will be denied. MHHS is not responsible for any loss of cost or food. MHHS offers a FREE breakfast & lunch to all students. Breakfast is available prior to the 1st bell and lunch is available during lunch. For the safety and security of our students and campus, we do not allow drop offs of any kind. This includes food or drinks, athletic equipment, school materials, and personal items. A FRIENDLY REMINDER FROM OUR MHHS LIBRARY
All students are expected to bring their school-issued Chromebook and charger to school every day. The library has a very limited number of day loaner Chromebooks available to students, so we cannot guarantee availability. If your student has any issues with their Chromebook or charger, please have them visit the library for assistance as soon as possible. Library hours are 7:30-4:00, M-F. AVID PROGRAM HIRING TUTORS NOW
Our AVID program is looking to hire current college students, who are also Mission Hills alumni, as AVID Tutors. AVID Tutors assist students in grades 9 - 12 with mathematics, science, English, history, and foreign language; AP and Honors experience is preferred. AVID Tutors work 10-18 hours a week. Because college classes come first, tutoring hours will be scheduled around a tutor's college schedule. The current pay is $15.50/hour. Applicants must apply on edjoin.org.
