Incoming Open Enrollment
Welcome To Our Newest Titans!
Welcome to the New Family Newsletter, your 2026 - 2027 School Year Preparation Guide. We're excited to guide you as you start planning for the upcoming school year!
In this newsletter, you'll find a variety of information and resources to help guide your transition to Poway High School. We look forward to having your student and your family join the Titan Family!
Below you will also find information to help select your courses for next school year. The Course Offerings document outlines the courses available for your grade level, and will be yours to keep for your records. After selecting your courses on the Course Offerings, you'll fill out a Course Request Form (CRF) which you will bring with you to your Enrollment Meeting.
Enrollment meetings will take place with your counselor in April / May. During this time you will be able to review class options, work on your 4-year plan, and ask any questions you may have. Our Counseling Assistant, Kelly McEttrick, will reach out to schedule your enrollment meeting once the appointments become available.
We are a trimester school that allows students to take up to 15 courses per school year. Each trimester containing 4 classes equals a full schedule, however a student can take up to 5 classes per trimester. A schedule with 4 classes will also contain one period as an "off-roll". This period allows students extra study time while participating in sports, music, work, and other extra-curricular activities.
Please see important information and announcements below and know that we are here to support you every step of the way!

Poway High parents use a program called MyPLAN to keep track of their students' information. You will log into your MyPLAN dashboard to access the suite of programs available to you. You can log into MyPLAN with your user name and password at myplan.powayusd.com. MyPLAN recently underwent a total overhaul, so if you were familiar with it in the past, you may want to log in and look around to learn about the changes.
Students can also log into myplan with their Student ID and password. The default password for students is their 6-digit birthday.
NOTE: To log into a Chromebook or the Google Suite, students will use their log-in address. This is made up of the student's first name, last initial, and last 5 digits of their student ID + @ stu.powayusd. com As an example, Tommy Titan's would be
tommyt23456 @ stu.powayusd. com - These are not email addresses. Students will want to have a personal email address which you can get free from your preferred email provider.
