I did not think January was ever going to end! Missing days and coming to school on a delay are hard for everyone. We get out of our routine and things feel like they are going sideways! While we are not out of the woods yet, I am hopeful we are back on track, for a little while anyways.

We have been working hard at Newland to come together in all areas and have made school-wide expectations our first priority. We are excited to roll out our brand new behavior matrix (see below). I hope you have heard your student(s) talk about Knights being Safe, Respectful and Responsible! We have identified what this looks like in all areas of the school and are working to help students meet these expectations. Very soon, we will also have signs hanging throughout the school to help students remember how Newland Knights present themselves. Ask your student about it.......they should be able to tell you everything you need to know.
