Important Reminders from the Dean Team

Still Distance Learning for all classes!

Last week, Governor Newsom announced a continuance of the stay-at-home order for Southern California. This means that ALL CLASSES WILL REMAIN IN DISTANCE LEARNING TO START THE SPRING SEMESTER REGARDLESS OF ACADEMY ASSIGNMENT.

Students will still get new class assignments, and teachers will still get new rosters. Teachers will have access to their new classes in Aeries by Wednesday, January 6th. Please remember to post your Google Agenda slide and Zoom links for students to access prior to January 11th.

Teacher Norms for Spring 2021

As we prepare to begin the Spring Semester 2021, please review the updated Teacher Norms for Spring 2021 document for all OCSA teachers for the Spring Semester.

Thank you to the OCSA Reopening Task Force members who helped to contribute suggestions and ideas for updating this document! Your ongoing support and collaboration, and during this Fall Semester has not gone unnoticed!

On Campus Cohort Students

Which students are participating in the on campus learning cohort? Please click here to access the list of all of the students who are currently enrolled in the on campus cohort.

Please be advised that due to the pandemic, OCSA cannot mandate that students attend school on campus each day. Therefore, the majority of the students attend school 2-3 days per week. If you have any questions or concerns about a student, please contact their case carrier.

Make appointments with OCSA IT to review and setup classrooms - must be completed by Friday, January 8

In preparation for the dual academy launch on Monday, January 11, all teachers who are assigned to teach in-person schedules are required to schedule an appointment with OCSA IT (techsupport@csarts.net) to review your classroom technology and begin the process of setting technology needs for instruction.

These appointments must be completed by Friday, January 8, 2021 - please make every effort to complete this as soon as possible.
