A Message from Administration
Dear Suchma Families,
As we head into an exciting stretch of the school year, please be sure to check our campus calendar below for upcoming events. In the coming weeks, we will be hosting several May activities, and a separate email will be sent with visitor sign-up links for each event so you can plan ahead.
We also encourage you to explore the summer camp opportunities offered through ORHS Athletics. There are a variety of options available to keep students active, engaged, and connected throughout the summer.
Congratulations to our Texas Standard representatives who were honored last week by our superintendent! We are incredibly proud of Suchma Student Glynda (6th grade), Suchma Teacher Ms. Cryer, and Suchma Para Ms. Patterson for this well-deserved recognition.
A reminder that our Math STAAR test is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28th. Our campus will be closed to visitors that day to ensure a focused and secure testing environment for our students.
Thank you, as always, for sharing your child with us. It is truly a privilege to serve your family.
With Appreciation,
Jamie Almond

Morning Carline Reminders
đźš— Morning Drop-Off Reminders for Families
We appreciate everyone working together each morning to ensure a safe and smooth arrival for all students! We’ve noticed a few challenges recently in our car rider line and want to share some helpful reminders:
- Please remain in the designated car rider line when dropping off your child. This helps keep traffic moving efficiently and ensures the safety of all students.
- Do not use the fire lane for drop-off. This area must remain clear for safety and emergency access at all times.
- Avoid parking and walking students across traffic lanes. This can slow down the flow of traffic and create unsafe situations for students and families.
- Follow staff directions during arrival. Our team is there to help keep everything running safely and smoothly.
⏰ Important Reminder:
Morning drop-off begins at 7:30 AM. For safety reasons, please do not drop off students prior to this time, as staff members are not yet on duty to supervise.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep arrival safe, efficient, and stress-free for everyone! Please reach out to Erin Borghese if you have any questions. erichardsonborg@conroeisd.net

Suchma Reminders
*Please remember to label jackets, lunch kits, and supplies. Our Lost and Found is overflowing. *Please help us out and make sure the dismissal tag is in the lanyard and secured to the backpack. This tag serves as our CISD safety protocol with dismissal.
Suchma Lunch Visitor Sign-Up
We are excited to have our parents visit for lunch! In order for things to run smoothly, please make sure that you sign up under the correct grade level and date. When signing up, please add the child's name along with the homeroom teacher, then add the visitors' names in the comment section. When selecting the number of visitors, please select 1 if you are visiting just one student, or 2 if you have two students in the same grade. Most people should select just 1, as it applies to the student you are coming to see, not the number of visitors coming. We ask that you limit the number of visitors coming to have lunch with the child to no more than three, please!! If you have an extenuating circumstance, please call the front office and we will work with you! We ask that you sign up only once every other week for now, so that every parent has an opportunity to come and have lunch with their child. Thank you!
Clinic Updates
Clinic Reminder for the end of the school year: If your student has medication in the clinic, it must be picked up by Thursday, May 21, 2025. All medication must be picked up by a parent/guardian or other designated adult. No medication can be sent home with the student or on the school bus. No medication is stored in the clinic over the summer. Any medication not picked up by the end of the school day on May 22nd will be discarded. This includes daily medication, emergency medication, and PRN meds such as Tylenol, etc.
Front Office
Front Office Reminders and Updates
Front Office Reminders:
A photo ID is required to enter the building.
Early check-out ends at 2:00PM.
Dismissal tags stay on backpacks. Tags should be secured in the cover and lanyards secured on the backpack. If a student needs a tag, cover or lanyard, student/parent should let teacher know or send an email to cduhon@conroeisd.net
Registrar and PEIMS
It's that time of year to notify our Registrar, Karen Dorrett, if you will be moving to another CISD campus, another district, or out of state/out of country over the summer months. The earlier you notify Ms. Dorrett, the easier it is for her to assist you with the withdrawl process, so you will have everything you need for the new school.

Parent Portal
Parents/Guardians:
We are looking forward to a great school year. In an effort to help our parents, we are moving to a Parent Portal for parents to access information about their child. You will login similar to the way your child does for school (similar to the SSO) to access school information. All parents/guardians will need to enroll to create an account. You will need the email address that is in your child’s record. Once you enter the email, you will be prompted to create a password.
Please click Parent Portal Directions for instructions or go to Conroe ISD Webpage then Parents/Students to access the link to the Parent Portal. We hope that you enjoy this transition to a new and convenient platform.
Volunteer in CISD Information
We look forward to having parent volunteers on campus to help throughout the year. Please note that the Volunteer Application must be completed yearly. You may use the link below to complete the CISD Volunteer Application.
