β° Notice Time Change 5:30 p.m Start (due to basketball game time change)
Thank you Home State Bank & Jefferson Telecom for sponsoring Rob Hackenson, Jr.
Some talking points about the assembly for you and your HS student:
- Why did Rob have a student find another student's pulse?
- Conversation vs. Debate What's the difference between them? (Conversation is to seek understanding. Debate is to win.) How can asking questions shift a debate/disagreement to a conversation?
- What are three things you can do to be happier? (1)get enough sleep which means put screens/phones away an hour before going to bed & charge it away from your bed - you can do it!, 2) exercise daily, 3)express gratitude - be thankful for 3 things daily)
- How does seeing someone else's perspective change your feelings about something?
