Important Reminders and Updates
9-Week Progress Reports Available in Infinite Campus- October 23
The 9-week progress reports will be available to parents and students in Infinite Campus on Friday, October 23rd. Please be sure to review your student's grades. Progress reports provide parents and students with the student's academic progress in a course at every 4.5 week period during a semester. The grades on a progress report are not a part of the student's permanent record or transcript but should help students to gauge their performance in a course. Student grades are finalized at the end of each semester and are posted to the official transcript at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters. Therefore, it is imperative that students are aware of their grades in a course and that they take advantage of any remediation opportunity that has been provided by the teacher.
As a reminder, Career Pathway students must earn a 2.5-semester G.P.A., and Magnet students must earn a 3.0-semester G.P.A. to maintain satisfactory academic standing. Students falling below this G.P.A. requirement at the end of the Fall 2026 semester are in jeopardy of being placed on academic probation or being exited from the academic program. Encourage your child to calculate their current G.P.A. by using the instructions attached below. Please speak to your child about their current status in their courses and contact your student’s teacher if you have any questions regarding their progress in a course.

AMHS Outerwear Reminder
Arabia Mountain High School is a uniform school, and all students are expected to arrive each day dressed in the approved AMHS uniform. Maintaining our uniform standards promotes school pride, professionalism, and a positive learning environment.
All uniform shirts and blazers must display the official AMHS logo. Students are permitted to carry clear or mesh bookbags only. Shoes must be closed-toe and closed-heel. Crocs, slides, flip-flops, and other open-toed or open-heeled shoes are not permitted.
Please review the AMHS Uniform Policy for complete uniform requirements. A list of approved uniform vendors is also available on our school website.
Physical Education Uniforms
Students enrolled in Physical Education courses are required to wear the official AMHS P.E. uniform. These uniforms are available for purchase through the AMHS Health & P.E. Department.
Blazer Mondays
Every Monday is Blazer Monday at AMHS! Students are expected to wear their official AMHS blazers as part of our commitment to promoting professionalism and school pride. Our CTAE and Fine Arts departments will also incorporate professional dress expectations into their employability standards, helping students make meaningful connections between their appearance and future career readiness.
Cooler Weather & Approved Outerwear
As temperatures begin to drop, we want to remind families that our uniform expectations remain in effect. Please ensure students are dressed appropriately for the weather while adhering to the following guidelines:
Outerwear: All jackets, sweaters, and other outerwear must be hoodless and solid Navy, Hunter Green, White, or Black.
Uniform Shirts: The official AMHS polo must be worn underneath all outerwear.
Head Coverings: Hats, bonnets, scarves, and other head coverings are not permitted unless worn for religious purposes. Religious head coverings must be solid Navy, Hunter Green, White, or Black.
We appreciate our families' continued support in ensuring that students arrive at school each day in full uniform and ready to learn. Consistency in meeting these expectations helps us maintain a focused, safe, and respectful learning environment for all students.

Student Community Service Hours & Documentation
As students complete community service activities throughout the school year, please remind them to properly document their community service hours using the Community Service Log attached to this newsletter.
Students are responsible for completing 10 community service hours outside of EIC. Participation in EIC will account for the other 10 hours of the 20-hour requirement.
Students should record their service activities on one Community Service Log and obtain the appropriate verification for all hours completed. Once all 10 community service hours have been completed, students should submit one completed Community Service Log to the AMHS Front Desk.
📌 Deadline: All Community Service Logs must be submitted by Friday, April 30, 2027.
Please encourage students to keep a copy of their completed log for their personal records.
Thank you for helping our scholars stay on track with their community service requirements!
