Carnaval D'hiver ⛄
This year ÉPK will celebrate Le Carnaval on Thursday, January 22nd. We have organized various activities throughout the day. Here are a few important things to note:
1. K-4 students will be heading to OLPH for a morning full of outdoor activities with French Immersion students from OLPH and ABJ. They will return to EPK before lunch. Remind your child(ren) to dress warmly - ski pants, toque, mittens, scarf, warm boots, etc.
2. We would love to have each class create an ice sculpture. Please have your child/children put a container with a removable lid (ie. ice cream pail, margarine, milk carton etc.) full of coloured water in the freezer for several days and Drop off ice blocks in front of your child's class sign along the fence at EPK on Wednesday, Jan21 (PM) or Thursday Jan 22 (AM).
Unfortunately, students are not allowed to bring their ice blocks on the bus. There will be signs in front of the school indicating class names. Please have your child put their ice block in their designated area in front of the school. We kindly ask you to remove the ice block from the container BEFORE dropping it off in your designated spot.
3. Please remember to send your child to school with their school sash (ceinture fléchée). It would be helpful if you labeled your child’s sash prior to coming to school.
Spread the word! 💬
Registration for the 2026/27 school year opens February 2, 2026.
We will begin with a informative presentation detailing our engaging curriculum, nurturing staff, and what makes our early learning program special. Immediately following the presentation, you will be taken on a guided tour of our vibrant classrooms and facilities.
This is the perfect opportunity to meet our team, see our school environment, and get answers to all your questions about starting your child's educational journey with us!
We can't wait to welcome your family!

Continuing our monthly dinosaur theme, we learned all about the Tyrannosaurus Rex and other meat-eating dinosaurs. We even had some dinosaurs visit our classroom! They made a huge mess and switched all the students’ seats at the tables while they were here. I’ve included a photo for proof.
