Welcome to Week Twenty Four! Welcome to Week Twenty Four!

Students and Families,

Tuesday marks our 100th day of the school year. Now is a great time to check in on your student's attendance this year because they should have ten or fewer absences right now to be on track to meet their goal of attending 90% of all school days. Also, third quarter progress reports go home on Friday March 7 so check Aspen to see how your students are doing this week. We hope that you and your families enjoy the winter break from February 22 to March 2 and look forward to seeing your students again on March 3.

Thank you,

The Parkside Staff

Student Internet Usage

We have seen an increase recently in students attempting to access computer games during class and instructional time. This is of particular concern because the students are trying to access unblocked games that are not subject to the district firewall which exposes the district servers to hacking. We have sent individual emails to families of students who have utilized these websites and are asking all families to have a discussion with their students about appropriate usage of district chromebooks and internet.
