Tynes Weekly Updates
October 24, 2025
Greetings from Dr. Borgese
Red Ribbon Week
Tiger Community,
Next week, Tynes will come together to celebrate Red Ribbon Week, a time to show our commitment to making safe, healthy, and responsible choices. From themed spirit days to meaningful classroom conversations, our Tigers will have an opportunity to demonstrate what it means to care for themselves and others. I am excited for our community to unite around positive values.
Red Ribbon Week also encouraged students to think deeply about what it truly means to live drug-free—not just saying “no,” but saying “yes” to their goals, health, and future. Through lessons and reflections, students explored the importance of self-respect, courage, and making thoughtful decisions each day. Thank you, families, for helping us reinforce these lifelong lessons at home. Together, we’re building confident, caring, and resilient Tigers.
Warmly,
Dr. Borgese
Principal
