Third Grade Celebration of Learning!

Third graders will be presenting a proposal to the Parks and Recreation Commission on Thursday January 23 at 5:15 p.m. The students are proposing a sign for Mountain View Park that explains the physics of play. The sign, created by the students, is a product of their recent expedition with teacher Dave Schneider. Students researched physical forces, gravity, and Newton's laws and learned how they are applied at the park. Their sign explains their results through pictures and words. UI Mechanical Engineering Department faculty member, and PPCS parent, Sean Quallen and Dave Schott of Moscow Parks Department served as experts on the expedition. Students are proposing a 2 foot by 3 foot sign that will withstand Moscow's weather extremes. "The Crew worked incredibly hard on their craft, going through many, many, many revisions to put out their best possible product," according to Mr. Schneider. Families and friends are encouraged to attend the event.

Middle School Dance was a Blast!!

Middle Schoolers celebrated their first dance in our new building with a Disney theme dance. Magic was in the air and fun was had by all. Thank you to our volunteers and bakers who brought some yummy food and helped the dance run smoothly.
