Principal Message
Happy New Year and welcome back!!!!!! A few items to note:
~ PTO Meeting: Our next PTO meeting is Tuesday, January 9 at 6:00pm. Here is the link to join virtually. We do have child care this month, with a National Honor Society student from East providing the care.
~ Early Release is right around the corner...next Wednesday, January 10th. Here is the link to sign up for supervised care. The school will provide free supervised care from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Supervision will begin at 12:30 and your student MUST BE REGISTERED! If your child attends ACES or YMCA the Wednesday afternoon of early release, you must sign them up for the 12:30-2:30 childcare, as these programs will not start until 2:30.
~ PTO Family Game Night: Mark your calendar for an exciting PTO Family Night. On Friday, January 26 the PTO will be hosting a Family Game Night. The PTO is planning to give away games/cards as door prizes AND have silent auction baskets for auction. The funds raised from the silent auction would go directly to offset snack cart expenses. Donations of new games/cards for door prizes OR items that could be included in silent auction baskets that are family friendly are being accepted. Donations can be brought to the Washington office at any time.
~ No School on Monday, January 15 due to the MLK Jr. Holiday, and no school on Monday, January 22 as this is the end of the semester and a professional development day for teachers.
As always, thank you for your support--it matters!
