Missouri has now opened early voting if you would like to get your vote completed before the November 3 election.

Nixa Crimson Corps Places 19th Overall, Earns Division I Rating at BOA Super Regional 🎺🏆
🎉 Congratulations to the Nixa Bands students of the Nixa Crimson Corps for their performance at the Bands of America St. Louis Super Regional this past weekend! 👏
🏆 The band presented their show “Cymatics: The Shapes of Sound,” which scored 79.55 and earned a 1 rating. Out of the 69 bands attending, coming from 9 different states, the band finished 19th. And out of the 24 Missouri bands in attendance, the band placed 4th.
🌟 Additionally, the band placed 6th overall in the Visual Individual caption and 11th overall in Music Individual.
🦅 There are only three BOA Super Regional competitions in the nation, making them the largest competitions outside Grand Nationals. Bands travel from Missouri and surrounding states, as well as Minnesota, South Dakota, Kentucky, and Texas.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears.
"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.
Shrek presents a treasure trove of creative opportunities, including costumes, sets, puppets (there is a fire-breathing dragon after all) and more! Irreverently fun for the whole family, Shrek proves that beauty is truly in the eye of the ogre.

Nixa Boys Soccer Wins Christian County Cup, Reaches 20 Wins for First Time in Over a Decade ⚽🦅
⚽ Boys soccer concludes the regular season with a dominating victory over Ozark and retains the Christian Co. Cup in Nixa! The victory also marks win No. 20 on the year, and gives the Eagles its first 20-win season in over a decade!

✅ Goals: Spencer Rinne (2), Gavin Shaw (2), Sergio Zaragosa
✅ Record: 20–3

🎊 The JV team also defeated Ozark, 1-0, capping off an undefeated season at 19-0-1. Our C team was victorious 5-2.

Nixa Swimmer Broghan Dee Wins COC Medal 🏅
🌟 COC MEDALIST 🌟
🏊Congratulations to sophomore swimmer, Broghan Dee, on setting a new personal best in the 100-yard backstroke at the COC championships meet!
🥉 Dee finished with a time of 1:14.33 and stepped onto the podium with a 3rd-place medal. He had continued success at the COC by capturing a top-10 finish for Nixa in the highly competitive 50-yard freestyle, sprinting to yet another personal best (26.70).
