Town of Sunnyvale Weekly Update
Town of Sunnyvale Offices Closed for Good Friday
Town of Sunnyvale offices will be closed Friday, March 29 for Good Friday. The Doris Padgett Public Library will be closed Friday and open for its normal hours on Saturday. Trash, recycling and bulky pickups will proceed as usual.
Winter Averaging Now Reflected In Your Bill
In 2023, the Town Council adopted a new winter sewer average which calculates your wastewater charge based on your water consumption during the months of December, January and February. Those savings should be seen in your next Sunnyvale utility bill, which is scheduled to be sent at the end of March.
Town leadership implemented this program to help offset a water rate increase from the North Texas Municipal Water District and save the average Sunnyvale homeowner approximately $235 annually.
