In 2023, the Town Council adopted a new winter sewer average which calculates your wastewater charge based on your water consumption during the months of December, January and February. Those savings should be seen in your next Sunnyvale utility bill, which is scheduled to be sent at the end of March.

Town leadership implemented this program to help offset a water rate increase from the North Texas Municipal Water District and save the average Sunnyvale homeowner approximately $235 annually.
