This has been a wonderful week of celebration and recognition. We started with 6th grade promotion on Monday night. This evening was among one of our best. We welcomed many families and heard very thoughtful and sincere speeches. I want to thank our 6th grade students who spoke. It is not easy getting up in front of a large group and they did so with maturity and pride. Tuesday was our Senior Walk, we welcomed over 60 former owls from three different high schools. Our students were so excited to see them, some even asking for autographs. I have to thank Mrs. Plack for the time and effort she put in to making this a success. Today we had our final SOAR assembly where not only did we recap our character traits with examples from the year, but we had a fierce game of Hungry-Hungry Owls! The staff and students created a special video message for me, and I was so happy to hear their sweet stories and memories. Thank you to Mrs. Heim and Mrs. Brevic for putting this all together. I will miss the Pine Run community, the staff, the students, the families. As I transition to Bridge Valley on July 1st, I will take with me the lessons and experiences that I have learned and that have been so instrumental in my personal and professional growth. I am excited to apply all that I have learned and embrace new opportunities at Bridge Valley. Thank you, Pine Run, for four wonderful years.
