2nd Grade Newsletter
October 6-10
What a fantastic week of learning we’ve had!
In math, our young mathematicians have been diving deep into place value, exploring number lines, and learning how to compare numbers with confidence. It’s been wonderful to see their problem-solving skills in action and their determination to tackle new challenges.
In literacy, we’ve discovered that we have some truly amazing poets in our classroom! Students have been putting their creativity and emotions into every poem, and the results have been inspiring. From rhythm and rhyme to vivid imagery, their writing has been filled with heart and imagination.
It’s been a week full of energy, exploration, and growth. We’re so proud of all the hard work and enthusiasm your children bring to the classroom each day.
Wishing you a restful weekend,
The Second Grade Team

Boosterthon Fundraiser
The next few days are going to be filled with fun as we discover new worlds and work together to raise $60,000 for teacher grants, turf for the gaga ball pit, new technology, and school programs at Windsong Elementary! Every student will participate in the fun through a character-building program, event day, and school incentives. Here are a few things you can do to help us reach our big goals!
Register your student at MyBooster.com to join the fun. Search for “Windsong Elementary.”
Donate and share. We are encouraging every family to share their donation page with 10 people.
Throughout the week, our class will earn fun rewards based on how much we raise on our classroom tracker. When our class earns a reward, this adds some extra awesomeness to our day. I will keep you updated!
