Linden Middle School
September 2026 Newsletter
Dear LMS Families,
Greetings Linden Middle School Families. I am pleased to say that the school year has started off very well here at LMS. The 7th and 8th graders are leading by example and the 6th graders are starting to grasp the routine of lockers and switching classes. We will continue to become more efficient and will be running at 100 percent before long. I hope everyone enjoys the extended Holiday weekend. Safe travels and enjoy your time with family and friends.
Please continue to stay up to date with your child's progress in their classes by checking Parent Vue often.
Special Note: Your child's Spring 2026 M-Step report was given to them in their Eagle Time class today. Please be on the lookout for the report from your child.

Assistant Principal's Corner
This school year we will continue to implement field trip eligibility guidelines designed to recognize and encourage positive student behavior throughout the year.
Field Trip Eligibility
- Any student who receives 2 major discipline referrals will not be eligible to attend field trips for the remainder of the school year. Examples of major referrals include fighting, possession of an illegal substance, significant disrespect, and similar offenses.
- Any student who receives 5 minor discipline referrals may become ineligible to attend field trips, with the final determination being made at the discretion of an administrator. Examples of minor referrals include tardies, technology misuse, minor disrespect, and similar behaviors.
- All fines must be paid.
- Any student who is on an attendance contract will not be allowed to go on field trips.
Athletic Eligibility
Beginning Thursday, September 10th, we will run athletic eligibility reports on a weekly basis.
- Any student-athlete with 2 E's will be automatically ineligible to participate in practices or games until their grades are brought up to passing.
- Any student-athlete with 1 E will be placed on a one-week probationary period. If the grade is not raised to passing by the following week, the student-athlete will become ineligible to practice or compete.
- Students must attend after school tutoring if on probation or ineligible.
These guidelines are intended to encourage students to make positive choices, maintain appropriate behavior, and stay on top of their academic responsibilities.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions at lbelill@lindenschools.org.
