Principal's Message
Good afternoon,
Fremont Middle School had an amazing Trimester 1! Students began their Trimester 2 classes today. We had a PAWS assembly during Flex to recognize fall sports and our Color Guard, Cheer, and Poms performed their routines. We ended the assembly with a fun and friendly pizza knockout competition. Please check out the information below on Operation Gratitude. Amazing job to all students and staff for raising over $3,000 to send veterans on the Honor Flight. Check out the morning announcements for some some videos of today!
Friendly reminder that report cards "go live" on Teacherease on Thursday, November 20th at 3:00 pm. Honor Roll certificates will be processed and handed out during Flex the week of December 1st. Please see the Honor Roll criteria here.
Warm Regards,
Emily Loerakker
Fremont MS Principal

Operation Gratitude
This past week your middle schooler participated in Operation Gratitude. As a thank you to our local Veterans, students raised over $3000 to send TWO local Lake County Veterans to Washington D.C through Lake Country Honor Flight. They will receive an all-expense paid trip to visit the Vietnam, Korean, and World War II war Memorials along with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery to witness the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Thank you to all of Fremont families and students for their generosity!
Flu Season is Coming!
We are committed to maintaining a healthy environment for our entire K-8 community. As a proactive measure to significantly reduce the potential spread of seasonal illness (such as flu and colds), our facilities team is initiating a rigorous, focused regimen of sanitizing and disinfecting.
This process will specifically cover all frequent-contact areas, including door hardware, stair railings, and water fountain buttons. Our goal is to maintain the highest standards of hygiene to support the continued health of our students and personnel during the winter months.
Email jpettinger@fsd79.org if you have any questions.
