Device Collection Plan

BOBCAT NATION:

As we approach the conclusion of the 2024-2025 school year, BMHS will begin collecting all technology items from students during the week of school. Devices will be collected on the following days:
-May 16: 6th grade, 7th grade, and seniors
-May 21: 8th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade, 11th grade

Please ensure your child brings their fully charged devices (MacBook, Chromebook, Hotspot, LTE Router, etc.), chargers, and any other accessories on their designated collection day. Students who are missing any part of their technology will be assessed the following fees:
-Damage to MacBooks: $52
-Missing/Incomplete MacBook Case: $51
-Missing/Incomplete Chromebook OR MacBook Charger: $62

This process will help us efficiently gather all school issued devices and prepare for the 2025-2026 year. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work together to empower students through technology.

Below is the plan to collect devices as well as the fee schedule per FWISD:

May 16:

1st period – seniors

2nd period – 6th grade

4th period – 7th grade

May 21: All remaining grades

This plan allows for students to keep devices to take their finals on. All devices must be turned in during their time above. Students returning to BMHS will receive the same device back to start the 25-26 school year. If there are any changes to this plan, we will notify as soon as we know.

Reminders Reminders

Dress Code

When we return to campus after spring break, administration will be out in classrooms enforcing dress code. As a reminder, If a student is out of dress code, they will be given the opportunity to change their attire to be compliant and return back to class. If a student is unable to change their attire, their parent will be called to bring up an appropriate item to get them compliant and return back to class. Your help and cooperation with this expectation is greatly appreciated.

Dress code violations include the following, per FWISD Policy:
  • Clothing considered too revealing (bare midriffs, tube tops, tank tops, cut-off shirts, low-cut tops, crop tops, see-through shirts, fishnet clothing, bandos)
  • Clothing with lewd, offensive, vulgar, or obscene pictures, emblems or language
  • Clothing with advertising that depicts tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, drugs or any substance prohibited under Board Policy FNCF (LEGAL)
  • Sleepwear
  • Shorts, skirts, and skorts must be at least finger-tip length

Tardies and Buses

If you arrive late to school, please come through the front office to check in. If you are late due to a late bus, we will mark accordingly and send you to class. If you are just tardy to school, you will be sent on down to room 115. All late arrivals need to check in through front office. Thank you for understanding as we navigate through this.

Food Deliveries

We are still having issues with food deliveries. In order to ensure your student's continued safety, we are disallowing food deliveries by Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc. However, anyone who is on your students emergency card can make food deliveries. These deliveries can be made at the main office of the respective building.

Please know that we will be turning away anyone who is not on students emergency card, which includes third party food deliveries. Please make sure your student is aware of these changes so that they can adjust accordingly. Again, this is all about ensuring the commitment we have to our students' safety.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up

Parents, pick up and drop off for Building B is directly in front of Westpark Dr. Parents should enter the drive nearest 2871, which will take you to the loading zone and then back around to the exit.

Pick up and drop off for Building A is directly off of Overcrest Dr., leading to our main office. We ask that you do not drive between buildings for pick up as this is our bus lane. Additionally, we ask that you do not pick up or drop off your student in the lower area closest to the football field, as this is an area with higher foot traffic.
