Monthly School-Wide Character Trait: Growth Mindset
April is all about Growth Mindset — believing we can learn and improve through effort and practice. Encourage your child to reframe challenges as opportunities. Ask: “What’s something you couldn’t do before, but now you can because you kept trying?”
At the end of the month, one student from each classroom will be recognized at our school assembly for demonstrating a growth mindset.

APEX Weekend Challenge
Good Evening Walteria Wildcats families! Karaoke Ky here from the Apex team. We have been having a blast teaching your students how to LEVEL UP as Leaders! So far, we've learned why it is so important to Level Up, Start With Ourselves, Understanding Others, and creating a Game Plan!
We've also been helping raise funds for Field Trips, Assemblies, School Improvement, and Classroom Support together!….As of now, we are almost halfway to our goal and still have one more week left in the program. Don't forget to log in to myapexevent.com this weekend with your student's access code to get those pledges in. You can also just scan the QR code found on the pledge kit your student received on Monday. (feel free to email your student’s teacher if you cannot find your access code)
This weekend's challenge is the OUT OF STATE challenge! That means the class that gets the most pledges from a different state (or country) over the weekend will earn a WATER BALLOON PARTY with the Apex team next week!
Another great way to get pledges is by using the Share Wizard! Just input family members or friends’ email address or phone number into the Share Wizard and an ask with a link to your kiddos’ donation page will be sent to those people. It’s the easiest way to get donations!
We can't wait to finish out the program next week. Thank you for your support and enjoy
the rest of your weekend!
