The HMS PTO would like to invite our school community to join our next PTO meeting on Tuesday, April 7th at 6:30pm in the HMS library, when we will be joined by HPS Superintendent, Katie Roberts. She will be updating us on the latest happenings for Hingham Public Schools and important things to note for the upcoming and future town meeting votes.

If you cannot make April 7th, please mark your calendars for May 5 and June 2 at 10am. These meetings are a great way to stay informed, connect with other families, and support the continued success at Hingham Middle School.

Stay tuned for our April Newsletter coming out on Monday, April 6th!

Project 351 and Cradles to Crayons

From March 30 through April 10, there will be a box in the HMS lobby collecting clothing and shoe donations for Cradles to Crayons! This is an inspiring non-profit organization that supplies children up to age twelve with daily necessities. We are asking for new or like-new clothing to give to families in need. Any donation size will make a difference. Cradles to Crayons is specifically looking for clothing donations of any size from infant up to 12 years old - specifically winter clothes and shoes.

Thank you in advance for helping local families in need!

Spring Cleaning

The Green Turtle Team is looking for recyclable donations

Are you planning a "Spring Clean Out" at your home?

Do you want to keep some old items out of landfills?

If so, we may be able to help!

First, Do you have any old soccer balls or basketballs that need a new home? Bring them into the middle school and drop them off. We will have a box right inside the doors for donations. They will be given to dogs who need some new toys to chase.

Second, Do you have any old pots you no longer want? The Green Turtle Team could use them for students to use for potting their own new baby plants in April.

We will have a drop off box right inside the main entrance doorway.

Thank you!
