Hello Cougar Families,
The Carmenita Fit-A-Thon is now on October 28, and supporting our students is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
- Families: Donate and share your personal 99 Pledges page to earn donations.
- Students: Collect more donations to earn more prizes!
- Parents: Enjoy the rest of the year with no more fundraising (as long as we reach our goal)!

FAQ: How do donations support Carmenita? How is the $50,000 used?
The Entire School Benefits!
Our annual Carmenita Fit-A-Thon is our only fundraiser. It is a community fundraiser led by PTSA and supported by the PE Dept and Associated Student Body (ASB). The funds are distributed throughout the school and support programs and activities that benefit all 665 students in a variety of ways!
- $6,000 goes toward supporting the PE Department and Fitness Center
- $6,000 goes to ASB to help plan our events
The remaining funds are used by PTSA to support:
- 7th & 8th Grade Field Trips
- 8th Grade T-shirts
- Winter Dance
- Student Scholarships
- 8th Grade Promotion
- Green & Gold Awards
- Student Snacks during testing
- Staff Appreciation
- Fit-A-Thon and PTSA expenses
- and so much more!
Last year, PTSA donated $22,000 back to Carmenita Middle School to:
- Repaint the murals on campus
- Purchase Chromebook charging stations for classrooms
- Purchase shade canopies for students

Check for emails sent to parents and students to find your Personal Pledge Page!
- Share your student's personal 99 Pledges page with friends and family via text, email and social media! The more donations students receive, the more prizes they win!
- Donate to the fundraiser online at https://app.99pledges.com/fund/CMSFIT2026 or with cash/check in the envelopes sent home.
Step 2
Guaranteed Incentives, Small Raffle Prizes and Large Raffle Prizes
All students can earn incentives based on the donations they collect, starting at only $10! They will also receive one Small Raffle Ticket for every $25 donation and one LARGE Raffle Ticket for every $50 donation they collect. Click here to see all prizes. - new prizes added daily!

Enjoy the Fit-A-Thon
Leave the rest to us. You can attend the Fit-A-Thon to cheer on your student and be part of the fun. If we reach our fundraising goal, we will not need to fundraise again this school year!
