welcome back
2025-2026
Let's get this school year started Jr. Pats!
Dear Meaux Jr. Patriot Families,
Welcome back to school!
We are thrilled to kick off another exciting year at Meaux Elementary, home of the Jr. Patriots! Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we are excited to welcome you to a year filled with opportunities to grow, achieve, and LEVEL UP!
This year’s theme, “Level Up,” is all about progress—academic, personal, and community growth. It means setting higher goals, pushing past limits, and rising together as students , teachers and parents. Whether it's mastering a new skill, making new friends, or overcoming challenges, every Jr. Patriot has what it takes to take their learning—and their character—to the next level. And with your support, it can happen!
Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working hard to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where every student can thrive. We believe that learning is most powerful when students feel connected, encouraged, and empowered—and that’s exactly what we plan to deliver every day.
As partners in education, we thank you, our families, for the support, communication, and teamwork you provide. Together, we will build strong habits, create lasting memories, and ensure that every student feels proud to be a Jr. Patriot.
Please be on the lookout for important details about class assignments, school events, and upcoming opportunities to get involved. There’s so much to look forward to—and we can’t wait to see all the ways our students will Level Up this year!
Let’s make it our best year yet!
With Patriot Pride,
Dawn Amy

Kindergarten Information
Pre-K Parent Information
Please make note of the Pre K Parent Orientation which will be held on Monday, August 4 at 5:30 pm in the school cafeteria. Entrance to this meeting will be at the cafeteria hallway. Look for the sign. We all look forward to seeing you then. As a reminder, this meeting is just for the parents.
Car Rider Information
Our welcome bell will ring at 7:50 each school day. Students may enter the building after this bell has signaled the start of the day. Please do not drop students off in the front of the school unsupervised before this time. At 8:10, MES faculty and staff will be present and ready to welcome your child to school.
Please do not exit your car in the car line. We will have several staff members available to help our students exit their vehicles and enter the building. Please have your child prepared to exit the vehicle with their bookbag and water bottle, band instrument, and lunch box in hand if applicable.
In the afternoons, please do not call for students to come to your vehicles. We will be teaching students the safety procedures and they must wait to walk to their vehicles until they have been told it is safe to do so.
Please be patient with us and one another as many of our new families learn our routines and procedures in the drop off/pick up line. Please expect longer lines on the first seven days of school as we transition all of the PreK and Kindergarten students into the start dates of school.
If your child is a car rider and you want him or her to eat breakfast at school you will need to have them here by 8:00. Of course, we will not deny any student a meal, but it will help for us to be able to serve all of our students and be ready to begin the day by 8:10.
RSVP for the Car Line
- At , MES, we use a car tag scan system for our dismissal. If your child is a returning student, you can use the car rider tags assigned to you from last year. If you are a new family to MES, and are in need of a car rider tag, please let your child's homeroom teacher know at Meet and Greet. We will administer your tag as soon as possible.
