Raymond Weekly Newsletter 04/20

In celebration of Office Administrator Professional Day this Wednesday, we extend our sincere gratitude to the team that keeps our school running smoothly each day. We are especially thankful for the leadership of Maria Gonzalez, our office manager of over 25 years, whose experience and dedication guide our front office with excellence. We also recognize Ms. Bertha, our attendance clerk, Ms. Elisabeth, our social services assistant and community liaison, and Ms. Adriana, our health clerk. Each plays an essential role in supporting our students, families, and staff, and their work makes a meaningful difference across our school community.

Quite simply, they are the heart of our front office and the reason so many things get done before the rest of us even realize they needed doing. We are deeply grateful for all they do and for keeping the rest of us on track with a smile.

• 4/20: Parent Nutrition Class 8:30-10:00am in the MPR
• 4/25: LOVE Fullerton community service day at Raymond 9am-12pm
• 5/1: Día del Niño - Parents, we will need volunteers and donations!

• TK/Kinder/1st Grade: Piñatas, rope, and sticks

• 2nd Grade: Face Painting Kits (Example linked here)

• 3rd Grade: Paletas/Frozen Popsicles

• 4th Grade: Bubble Solution and Large Wands

• 5th/6th Grade: Candy for piñatas

• 5/7: Open House
• 5/15: Fiesta Final

The application window for Independent Study PE is open May 1 through May 29 for the upcoming 26-27 school year. ISPE is an option for students in grades 7–8 who are engaged in national or international level athletic training, averaging 10 or more hours per week Monday through Friday, as an alternative to traditional PE.

We are still accepting nominations for all positions and will continue to do so until the election takes place. We will also accept Nominations from the Floor during the Election Zoom meeting before voting begins.
