Magnificent Mustangs
Colton and Kinley sweep the classroom at the end of every day. It made the room feel ready for a new day and clean of any unnecessary obstacles.
Garrett took it upon himself to figure out how the laptop cart was getting unplugged and he asked if he could stand by the laptop cart when the kids put them in the cart each day and make sure they get charged.
Gauge is always on task when he works on his group assignments. He is accountable during his reading, and asks clarifying questions to further his understanding. Gauge does not settle for mediocracy, and I am extraordinary proud to be his teacher. Gauge is taking accountability for his learning and helps set the tone for the group that we are here to learn.
Talbot helped another student in class. We were working on math that required certain colors of crayons. Talbot noticed a student at another table was missing the needed colors. She immediately went over and shared her crayons with the student. She was calm and quiet about it. Just very helpful. She brought a smile to the other student's face. She did not disrupt others while they completed their work. She got her own work done. Very responsible and considerate!
Evan noticed a student about to cry. He didn't ask questions, he just walked over and gave that student a hug. He always wants to help if someone is upset. He always wants to share what he has with others. He is very considerate. It helped the other student feel better. He demonstrated caring and consideration.
Levi reached out to a 1st grader who was sad about his grandma being taken in an ambulance. It showed the 1st grader that he cared about him! :) You have a kind heart! We are so lucky to have you as a student at MES!
Levi worked really hard on his end of year DIBELS. He increased his Maze score and really took his time and worked hard. It allows his teachers to know how to best help him with his reading skills, and it helps Levi be proud of all of his hard work.
