Analogue of Horror

Late on November 19, 1982, in the quiet town of Fishbone, Montana, a ten-year-old boy is slaughtered in his bedroom. Just down the hall, his older sister moves through the house, unaware of the horror unfolding only feet away.

The nature of his death defies explanation, neither entirely human nor animal.

Hundreds of miles away, Dr. Robert Qiu, a brilliant but haunted medical examiner, wears the dead like a second skin. Witness to a brutal double homicide years earlier, the memory shadows him still.

When the boy's murder plunges Fishbone into terror, Sheriff Peter Stubbe calls in Qiu, convinced only he can uncover the truth.

But when Qiu arrives in this frozen, neon-lit town, he finds a mystery that reaches far beyond the boy’s murder.

As a malevolent force stirs beneath the town’s quiet surface, Robert must confront horrors both supernatural and personal, before the shadows claim another victim.
