Congratulations to the middle school students who did so well at the Lead oral interp contest this weekend. Mikayla Freese and Haiden Culver placed 2nd in duet, and Khiana Oviatt and Oliver Voight placed 3rd. The reader's theater group, including Khiana, Oliver, Mikayla, Haiden, and Kaylee Michael placed 3rd.

Contests

The South Dakota Department of Transportation and South Dakota Pilots Association are seeking students to enter the 2025 International Aviation Art Contest. The theme is Women with Wings and we would like to invite students ages 6 - 17 to submit artwork inspired by the daring women who have defied society's expectations, taking to the air and proving that the sky is a place for everyone. All artwork must be 11 3/4 by 16 1/2 inches or the nearest possible equivalent in size to be considered for the contest. Prizes will be awarded for 1st - 3rd place. All entries must be received by January 7, 2025. There is more information in the office.

Do you know a staff member that goes above and beyond to be kind and helpful? Please, nominate them for the PTSA staff member of the month. Nomination forms can be found in the office.

Absolutely no medication on your person, over the counter or otherwise. All medication must be given through the nurse's office.

Backpacks are to be left in your lockers. Our classrooms are very small and backpacks clutter the aisle. It is a safety thing. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
