McCullough Color Guard

About Us

The McCullough Color Guard is an award-winning performance organization from Conroe ISD based in The Woodlands, Texas.

The McCullough Color Guard is home to three separate teams: Principles of Color Guard (a first-of-its-kind non-competitive learning program), JV Competition Team (2025 TCGC East Cadet Novice Silver Medalist), and Varsity Competition Team (TCGC East 2025 Cadet Regional A Gold Medalist).

Across our three teams, we are home to over 120 performers, making our team the largest Color Guard in the district.

Our teams strive towards improvement every day so that we can live up to our motto: Redefine Excellence.

Interested in sponsoring the 2026-2027 McCullough Color Guard?

Dear community partner,

At the junior high level, the Color Guard performs at competitions as well as school pep rallies. While this is extremely exciting, competing is an expensive venture for our program. You may be surprised to learn that the McCullough Color Guard receives no financial support from the school system other than providing the director and the gymnasium for practice. This means that essential items such as flags, rifles, costumes, team shirts, competition fees, and transportation to and from competitions must be paid out-of-pocket or through fundraising efforts.

Your sponsorship donation will take us one step closer to benefitting from this amazing experience and all the opportunities that the McCullough Color Guard has to offer. Your contribution is considered a charitable contribution, as the McCullough Color Guard is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3). Please join us by supporting the McCullough Color Guard!

Thank you for helping us keep the Sport of the Arts alive at McCullough Junior High.

Sincerely,

The 2026-2027 McCullough Junior High Color Guard Team
