- Republic has changed their local representative for the Excelsior Springs contract for curbside trash collection & recycling. Trash collection services return to 5-day collection schedule coincided with a large snowfall, which caused additional service disruptions. Last week with the return to clear streets, the service is normalizing. We are focused on helping residents that experience a service miss with better information to resolve the interruption in service. If the trash container needs to be replaced, Public Works will deliver a new container, just call 816-630-0755 for new container, service missed, or suggestions for better placement of container to avoid misses & what materials cannot be recycled.
