We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and a great start to the school year! We are excited for another year of supporting our students, staff, and school community.
New Playground Equipment!
The new playground equipment is officially installed! We would love to hear what you and your kids think!
Our next goal is rubber surfacing for the new portion of the playground.
Our goal is to have the rubber surfacing installed next summer!
If you know of a business, organization, grant, or community sponsor that may be willing to help, PLEASE send them our way. Every connection could make a difference!
School Supplies
We offered school supply kits this year and sold 34 kits, along with receiving a couple of generous community donations.
We'd love your feedback — should we offer the kits again next year?
If your child needs additional school supplies, classroom materials, clothing, or other items, please reach out to us. We want to help whenever we can!
PAC Meetings — Families Are Welcome!
This year, we will be hosting in-person public PAC meetings every other month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM in Room 107.
Our meeting dates are:
November 11
January 13
March 10
May 12
Pizza will be available for families, the gym will be open for kids, and school-age childcare will be provided during the meeting.
We'd love to see you there! PAC meetings are a great way to learn what's happening at Adams, share ideas, ask questions, and get involved.
Volunteers Needed!
The PAC is run by volunteers, and we need your help!
We are currently looking for volunteers for:
Friendship Dance Committee
Pokémon Night Committee
5th Grade Graduation Committee
Red Hawk — help by dressing up as the Red Hawk at school events
Fundraising Chair — We are especially in need of someone to help lead fundraising efforts, including grant applications and sponsorship opportunities.
Box Tops
Don't forget about Box Tops! It's a super easy way for everyday purchases to earn money for Adams.
You can sign up through the Box Tops app, and eligible purchases can automatically earn money for our school.

Flag Football
This after school flag football program provides an organized, entertaining and educational sports experience. We believe youth sports should be about more than skills and scores. While teaching kids to play the sport is important, we also develop character by teaching sportsmanship values and celebrating players who demonstrate these values. The mission is to help kids succeed in life through sports.

From Our Parent Educator
Conferences are most families’ first official chance to connect with teachers and talk about their child’s progress. To feel prepared and take advantage of this opportunity, here are some tips to keep in mind:
Include your child in the conference. Let them know why you’re going to school and ask them if they have any questions for their teacher.
Write down the questions you’d like to ask the teacher. For example:
“Can you show/tell us examples of _________________?”
“At home, how can I reinforce what they’re learning in school?”
“How can we partner to work together and support my child?”
Other questions? Contact a PreK – Grade 3 parent educator.
