DOLPHIN PROUD- PBIS SHOUT OUTS!
A Graebner spotlight shines on Bryson in Mrs. Shaum's 1st grade classroom for showing the KEYS to being character strong in the lunchroom. A new student didn't know where to sit at lunchtime, so Bryson moved over to create a seat for the new student to sit next to him. Thank you Bryson for being kind and making others feel included.
A Graebner spotlight shines on Briella in Mrs. Scholten's 3rd grade classroom for showing the KEYS to being character strong when arriving to school. After getting off the bus, Briella noticed her friend's backpack was unzipped and stopped to close her backpack so items wouldn't fall out. Thank you Briella for showing kindness towards others!
A star student shoutout goes to Mrs. Daniel's classroom for showing the KEYS to being character strong in the classroom. During a guest teacher's lesson every student in class was paying attention, focused, and listening. Thank you, Mrs. Daniel's class, for being respectful and showing kindness to your guest teacher.
A dolphin proud moment goes to Emmett in Mrs. Perakis' kindergarten classroom for showing the KEYS to being character strong. As I was walking through the hall, I noticed Emmett was leaving the bathroom but then stopped to pick up the paper towels that didn't make it into the trashcan. Thank you Emmett for working hard to keep Graebner clean and tidy.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: PERSONAL DEVICES AT SCHOOL
Please take a moment to read the following regarding cell phones, smart watches, and other personal devices. Our district policy says: "The personal use of non-school issued cell phones or other electronic communication devices (ECDs) by students is prohibited at any time while in school or in a district vehicle." It also states: "Elementary students may bring a device to school, but the device must remain in their backpacks or locker area."
Please Note:
- Students should keep cell phones and smart watches at home.
- If your child needs phone for after-school safety (like walking home from the bus stop), the phone and smart watch must be:
- Stored out of sight in their backpack.
- On silent and not used at all during the school day
By following Board Policy and our Student Code of Conduct, the implementation of this will allow our school to be a place where kids can focus, connect face-to-face, and enjoy a much-needed break from constant notifications.
If you need to get a message to your child during the school day, please call our office at 586-797-5000.
